Texture in the key of Black
I came across these shots I had taken a while ago while sorting through my Library. These were actually 100% straight from the camera JPEGs having set some black and white options on the camera, in this case my D700. I had set the camera to monochrome, turned up the contrast. It had been a dull day in Dublin and I was really just experimenting at the time, so they're probably not that interesting as subjects, but I always liked the way these looked, with a moody, almost velvety texture.
