Statue and Lilly Pond in the Japanese Gardens in Wicklow

There is a small Japenese Garden among the larger stately garedens and home of Powerscourt in Co. Wicklow. Getting to it is actually quite a trek. The Japanese Garden is hidden down the far end of the main concourse in the gardens, and is on the side of a hill, carved into the sloping surrounds. The day I was there the place was swarming with tourists, so it was hard to capture the overall serenity of the gardens, so instead I had to seek out frames within the larger landscape. This small statue in front of the Lilly pond is just one off the beautiful sights in this small corner of the larger grounds.
