Photo of the Day: The Ferry and the Power Station

Ferry Approaches Dublin Port in front of the Power station | Nikon D700 , 28-300mm Lens

My wife and I had gone for a walk on Dublin's Bull Island on sunday and we timed it just perfectly. Just as we were walking down the walk way towards the beach a large Stena Line ferry came in across the bay in front of us and passed by the great view we had of the famous Poolbeg power station. I had taken lots of shots of the ship as it approached, but this is one of my favourites as you can see the great industrial complex of the station beside the white lines of the ferry wight he gentle rolling hills of the Dublin mountains in the background.
