Seascape
When the restrictions were eased, and we could finally escape, we headed to the sea to get some fresh air and see the outside world. Here is a little collage of photos and poetry to enshrine the moment. Enjoy.
Escaping confinement, looking out to sea.
Feeling the breeze of the salt air, and the sound of the waves.
The wind picks up and the sea grows restless.
And the water, against the rocks, begins to spray
The feeling of months of restless despair.
Make way for a moment of peace and release
Walking along by the shore, breathing air.
As nature lulls us with the dull waves’ roar.
The blue and the greens in my mind are black
Light and dark in monochrome tones
The white foam, like light on a shadow
As against the rocks, the sea makes itself known
Escaping confinement, looking out to see.
A first journey from the same four walls.
The moment remembered through photons and electrons
Light and dark, like waves on the shore.
